Why these parts fail

Joysticks are wear parts on any controller, and handhelds get played hard. The charging port takes force every time a cable goes in or the device is used while plugged in. Dust and dried-out thermal paste make the fan spin faster and louder over time.

Screens are usually drop damage. On the Steam Deck we replace the whole display, with the part included in the price.

How we fix it

We open it up, replace the worn or broken part, and test everything — sticks across their full range, charging, display and temperatures — before it goes back to you.

Your games, saves and Steam or Ally setup aren’t touched. Nothing is due until it’s fixed, and every repair has a 6-month warranty.
