Our most common console and controller repairs, priced upfront. You pay nothing upfront — we quote you first, and you only pay once your device is fixed.
Don't see your device? We repair every major console, current and previous generation — call or text 801-855-6011 for a quote.
In plain terms: your stick moves on its own or won't aim straight — we replace the worn part. Joy-Cons get TMR sticks, a newer design built to not drift again.
Drift repair for PlayStation DualSense, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch Joy-Con and Pro Controller.
Previous-gen too: Same pricing on previous-generation controllers — PS4 DualShock, Xbox One, Wii U, Wii and older.
In plain terms: premium controllers are built tighter inside, so they take more care to open and repair.
Previous-gen too: We service older pro controllers too, including the Xbox Elite Series 1 and previous Scuf models.
In plain terms: the port your TV cable plugs into is damaged — we replace it on the board under a microscope.
Board-level micro-soldering with a port that comes out better than factory.
Previous-gen too: Older PlayStation and Xbox boards, starting at $50.
In plain terms: won't charge, won't read game cards, or you want it unlocked. We replace the charging port and any failed chips in the charging circuit on the motherboard — the usual reason a Switch goes completely dead.
Previous-gen too: We handle Wii U, 3DS, DS and Game Boy charging ports and cart readers as well — ask for a quote.
In plain terms: a full teardown, dust-out and fresh thermal paste so it runs cool and quiet again.
Previous-gen too: Older PlayStation and Xbox consoles get the same teardown, dust-out and repaste, starting at $40.
Most repairs are done the same day or the next. HDMI ports and overheating cleans run 1–2 business days standard, and same-day service is available on both for $20 more. We'll give you a real timeline when we quote you — not a vague "we'll call you."
Then you don't pay. Nothing is due until your device is working. We're honest when a board is past saving — and when that happens we'll tell you what your options are instead of quietly running up a bill.
Better, usually. Factory ports are placed by machine with the bare minimum of solder. We replace them by hand under a microscope with a stronger joint, which is why the repair tends to outlast the port it replaced.
Usually not. "Won't power on" is one of the most common things we see, and it's almost always a shorted component on the board rather than a dead console. We trace the short, find the bad part, and replace it — so bring it in before you write it off.
No. Hardware repairs don't touch your storage, so your games, saves and account stay where they are. If a job ever would put data at risk, we'll tell you before we start.
Not at all — retro is half the fun. PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, Wii, 3DS, Game Boy and NES-era systems all come across the bench. Recaps, cart readers, charging ports, the works.
Yes. Customers ship us consoles from all over the country, and we keep it simple: fill out the mail-in form and we send you a prepaid shipping label. All you do is package your console securely and drop it off. Nothing is charged until the repair is finished and your console is ready to ship back — repair and shipping are billed together at the end (about $25 round trip for a full-size console), and you get the same 90-day warranty as any walk-in. Start a mail-in repair.
Ask us. We keep an eye out for interesting hardware and sometimes have refurbished systems on the shelf. Call or text 801-855-6011 and we'll tell you what's around.
