PS5 repairPS5 acting up? Here’s the fix and the price.
No picture, a fan that sounds like a jet, a disc that won’t read, or no power at all. These are the PlayStation 5 problems we fix most, each one at a posted price. Original, Slim and Pro.

A PS5 is a tough machine, but a few parts take most of the abuse. The HDMI port is soldered straight onto the main board, so one yanked cable can kill the picture. Dust builds up inside and the console runs hot. And the disc drive is a moving part that wears out.
The good news is that almost every PS5 problem is fixable for a lot less than a new console. Find your problem below, see the price, and book it in or mail it to us.
Sounds like your problem?
- Console turns on but the TV says no signal — that’s the HDMI port.
- Fan is loud, or it shuts off mid-game — that’s overheating.
- Fan stopped after the console was opened or dropped — often a ripped fan connector.
- Discs won’t read or eject — that’s the disc drive.
- No lights, no beep, or a blue light that never turns white — see won’t turn on.
Why PS5s break
Most PS5 repairs come down to three things: force on the HDMI port, heat and dust, and wear on the disc drive. None of them mean the console is finished. They mean one part needs replacing or one problem needs cleaning out.
The PS5 also has a few quirks that make it a bad first DIY project. Sony uses liquid metal on the processor instead of regular thermal paste, and the disc drive is paired to the console’s own board. Both need to be handled the right way, which is exactly what we do all day.

Your games, saves and account stay right where they are — this is hardware work, not a reset. Every repair has a 6-month warranty.
Still have a PS4 or PS3? We fix those too: PS4 HDMI ports are $75, a PS4 deep clean is $55, and a PS4 that won’t power on is a flat $129.
Straight answers
Is it worth repairing my PS5 instead of buying a new one?
Almost always. A new PS5 costs several hundred dollars, and the most common repairs here cost a fraction of that. If a repair ever wouldn’t be worth it, we’ll tell you straight before you spend anything.
Will I lose my games or saves?
No. Repairs like HDMI ports, cleaning, fans and disc drives don’t touch your storage. Your games, saves and account stay exactly where they are.
Do you fix the PS5 Slim and PS5 Pro?
Yes. The HDMI price covers the original PS5, the Slim and the Pro. Not sure which you have? Text us a photo of the back of the console and we’ll tell you.
Can I mail my PS5 to you?
Yes. Fill out the mail-in form and we email you a prepaid label — a flat $12.99, with a box if you need one. Return shipping is free when we fix it, and it’s the same 6-month warranty.
Walk in at 507 N Geneva Rd in Lindon, Utah — minutes from Orem, Provo, American Fork and Pleasant Grove. Anywhere else in the country, ship it to us and we’ll send a prepaid label.
