Packing guide

Pack it like a pro

A few minutes of packing saves a lot of trouble. Here’s what we recommend.

Empty it out

Take out game discs and cartridges. Leave extra controllers and cables at home unless they’re part of the problem — like the power cable for a console that won’t turn on.

Pad every side

Wrap it in bubble wrap or a towel and use a sturdy box with padding on every side, so nothing moves when you shake it.

Add a note

Put a note inside with your name and ticket number from your confirmation email, so we match it to you the moment it arrives.

FAQ

Mail-in questions

How much is shipping?

A flat $12.99 for any device, any size. That covers your prepaid label to us — and a box with padding if you need one. Return shipping is free when we repair it. Several devices can share one box for one price.

I don’t have a box.

Tick “Mail me a box” in the form and we’ll send one with padding — same $12.99, nothing extra.

When do I pay?

Nothing is charged now. Repair and shipping are paid together once your device is fixed, before it ships back.

What if it can’t be fixed?

Then you pay only the $39 diagnostic, the $12.99 kit, and return shipping at cost. When we fix it, the diagnostic is included and return shipping is free.

Is it the same price and warranty as walking in?

Yes. Same repair prices, same quote-first promise, same 6-month warranty.

How long does it take?

Most repairs are done within 1–2 business days of your box arriving; advanced board work takes 5–10 business days. Then it ships straight back, and you can follow every step on your tracking page.

Nationwide

Mail-in console repair from anywhere in the USA

You don’t need a repair shop in your city. Customers ship us consoles from across the country — if there’s a mailbox near you, we can fix your system. Send in a PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, ROG Ally, controllers, or any retro console from the NES era forward.

We handle the repairs most local shops turn away: HDMI port replacement, dead boards, liquid damage, NAND and fuse work, disc drive failures, overheating, charging ports and controller stick drift — all done with board-level micro-soldering under a microscope.

Every mail-in repair gets the same prices and treatment as a walk-in: nothing due until it’s fixed, a firm quote before any work begins, and a 6-month warranty. See our pricing before you ship.
